ACT Engineers led the Public Participation for the Alternative Analysis which included segments of the Atlantic City Expressway, Routes 42 and 55, Interstates 676 and 76 and downtown Camden and Center City Philadelphia. The selected alternative allows buses to travel in highway shoulder lanes and medians that follow Routes 55,42 and I-676, provides 1,800 new parking spaces for commuters and includes train station-like shelters along the Rapid Transit Route. The project is an important link between Philadelphia, Camden and southern New Jersey communities.
