Enterprise Avenue Redevelopment & Railroad Abandonment

This project involved the development of zoning standards for the Enterprise Avenue Redevelopment Area and included the redevelopment of the former Carter Wallace plant, an 11-acre site along the Assunpink Creek.  A railroad spur which was within the municipal ROW was partially abandoned and tracks removed to allow relocation of the Enterprise Avenue roadbed and redevelopment of the fronting parcels. Existing industrial buildings were demolished and a new industrial site and streetscape were designed and the streetscape and road realignment constructed.  The industrial use portion of the site is bordered by pedestrian and bicycle path situated within a linear park along the Creek.
